Antique Oak Curved Glass Display Cabinet with Felt Interior c.1900–1920
Antique Oak Curved Glass Display Cabinet with Felt Interior c.1900–1920
Large antique oak display cabinet dating to the early 20th century. This is a solid, well-built piece with substantial weight and presence. The upper display section features a curved (bent) glass door, a higher-quality and more costly detail than flat glass, commonly found on better-made display cabinets of the period.
The upper interior is lined with original felt and includes a mirrored back panel, ideal for displaying collectibles, small antiques, or decorative items. Lower section offers additional enclosed storage behind glass doors.
Includes the original skeleton key, which opens the left door only. The right door is locked and closed and cannot be opened at this time. One side glass pane has a visible crack (clearly shown in photos). All other glass panels, including the curved door glass, are intact and in good condition.
The top surface shows wear and would benefit from refinishing. Interior felt shows age-related wear but remains intact. No broken wood components. Structurally solid and very heavy.
Best suited as a display cabinet or for someone comfortable with light restoration. Sold as-is.
